Online Orchestration
Overview
Open Fabric helps you offer your payment method (wallets, BNPL, etc.) on merchant checkout pages and payment gateways without building a one-off integration for every merchant.
Instead, merchants and gateways integrate once with Open Fabric (via our SDK and APIs). At checkout:
- The merchant starts a transaction with Open Fabric.
- We redirect the customer to your approval flow.
- You approve or decline.
- If approved, Open Fabric hands the merchant a one-time payment credential they can process using existing card rails.
Key Benefits
- Simple integration for merchants or gateways to accept an Open Fabric powered payment method.
- No need for a custom settlement and reconciliation flow as we are using existing card rails. No heavy backend change is needed for merchants or gateway.
- Less maintenance and highly scalable way for merchants to accept new payment method
Who integrates with what
- You: integrate your backend with Open Fabric to create transactions, approve/decline, and consume payment updates.
- Your merchants and payment gateways: integrate with Open Fabric’s Merchant SDK and use one of the handover patterns (card handover or PG token handover).
